Awake Godess’s events for women reflect our mission to foster an intimate community of women who commune to seek enlightenment. By processing our experiences and establishing conscious intentions together, we collectively cleanse ourselves of negative energy and align with our individual life purposes. Our new moon events for women will support you in cultivating your own confidence, balance, passion, and peace.
The Benefits
Our New Moon Ceremony is one of the only Big Island events for women to grow together. The ceremony establishes in a sacred space for women to clarify their intentions and desires. We will support you in identifying that which amplifies your best self and casting aside the feelings, memories, and relationships that weigh you down. Our circle will also connect you with other women on a similar journey, fostering resilient connections and friendships.
Who is the Ceremony for?
The New Moon Ceremony beckons all women with a desire to develop supportive relationships with other women. We call to the women of our community to attend our events for women in search of realignment and rejuvenation. If you are a woman seeking a safe space for self-exploration and growth, we welcome you with open arms!
Iris
Founder, Yoga Instructor, and Ayurvedic Therapist
Your Facilitator
Iris grew up surrounded by Nature and Ocean on the island of Florianopolis, Brazil, where she studied Yoga, Ayurveda, and Agroforestry. Iris sees the vital importance of living in harmony with Nature. A healer and a teacher, Iris inspires others to utilize environment, food, exercise, and yoga to create vibrant communities based on sustainable agriculture and healthy habits. Iris is a certified Ayurvedic Therapist and Yoga Teacher. She is also the founder of Bodhidevi and Awake Goddess, women’s wellness services that offer healing therapies and events for women.

Whether you’ve attended a women’s circle before or this is your first time, I welcome you to join. No previous meditation or women’s circle experience is needed. Come exactly as you are.

This Sister Circle identifies with Unify’s #GlobalSisterhood theme of the month, aligned on the new moon with the intention of transforming ourselves and the world. Thousands of women will be gathering locally in circles around the world to connect, uplift, and transform together. Sisters, Daughters, and Grandmothers will lift each other to blanket the world in love and connection. The theme of the month corresponds with the Zodiac sign that the New Moon falls under.
For this circle, we will begin by honoring our bodies with some natural, warm-up movements, followed by a guided meditation. We will then talk about the Theme of the Month, setting goals and intentions around the fire (in suitable weather conditions). We end with a brief ecstatic dance session to liberate the body and mind.
Together, we will be igniting the Divine Feminine, rising in Global Sisterhood, and cultivating inner peace.
